#paydirt2015 Team Shout Out: Pisgah High School

Pisgah High School has been part of Northeast Alabama BEST Robotics since the start. And we have seen some bright and talented students come through Coach Hembree's team since then.

Coach Hembree is the guy who is always on the sidelines rooting for his team, but giving them the freedom to do what needs to be done. He rarely goes into the pits, but instead watches from the rail. But that formula works. Pisgah teams are always strong.

We are excited to have them on board for another season of BEST!

#paydirt2015 Team Shout Out: Bridgeport Middle School

How do you spell Bridgeport Middle School?

Enthusiasm. Hard work. And brain power.

Okay. That's not how you spell BMS, but that's definitely what you get when you meet this smart, enthusiastic, hard-working group of middle school students.

We are so pleased that BMS is part of Northeast Alabama BEST!

#paydirt2015 Team Shout Out: Brindlee Mountain Middle School

Image result for brindlee mountain middle schoolBrindlee Mountain Middle School joined BEST in 2013. Quietly, but enthusiastically, they built their robot and practiced driving it. Then they practiced some more. We noticed that at practice day they came early and practiced driving in an empty corner. Then they took all of their allotted time on the field, allowing multiple drivers to practice. Then afterwards they worked out the kinks quietly in a corner of the building.

In 2014, as a second year middle school team, they advanced to South's BEST, edging out older, more experienced teams and were named the best middle school team at South's BEST.

What will they do in their third year? We can't wait to find out!
