Read the Rules!

We were recently told that during the field viewing at Kick Off Day that some of you were told that there could be a negative score for a round. That is incorrect. According to the game specific rules there can be no negative scoring for a round. Also, some were told that you must hit the OSOW button to score any points for the round. That is also incorrect. The OSOW button is required only for transport and does not impact scoring from Prairie Chicken environments and other non-transport scoring. We apologize for this error but it reminds us all to READ THE RULES!

What a (Kick Off) Day!

Wow! What an exciting day. We had far more participants for kick off this year than we have ever had before. The excitement was energizing!

Marshall Technical School is Registered!

Marshall Technical School has registered for BEST 2014. We are pleased to have Marshall Tech as part of BEST this year.

Bridgeport Middle School is Registered

We are excited to announce that Bridgeport Middle School is registered for BEST 2014! We welcome back Shannon McClain and her students for another great BEST year. That gives us three middle school teams for this year!

Ider High School Registered for 2014 Season!

Ider High School has officially registered to be part of Northeast Alabama BEST Robotics for the 2014 season. A perpetual strong contender, the Steel Heads of Ider, are led by Sharlyn Huber.

Fort Payne High School, which has been a tough contender in past years, is registered for BEST Robotics 2014. We are excited to have FPHS on board this year!

South's BEST Dates Announced

Auburn University officials recently announced that South's BEST will take place on December 6-7, 2014. Some marketing presentation slots may be available on Friday, December 5.

So who will represent Northeast Alabama BEST at South's BEST this year? Both Marshall Technical School and Fyffe High School represented us well last year. Who will be there in 2014?
